Q: What are the qualifications to rent a unit?
A: You will need to fill out an application. We look for the following:
1. Decent Credit
2. One Year Of Good Rental History
3. Six Months on the Job
4. Clean Criminal Background (minor offenses usually okay)
If you only have three of the above criteria mentioned, we can probably work with you. |
Q: Do I have to have perfect credit to rent from you?
A: No. It certainly helps, but if the rest of your application is good, we can probably work with you. See the answer to the "What do I need to rent one of your properties?" question. |
Q: I saw a house you are renting and want to see the inside of it. What do I do?
A: Fill out the application on the website and submit it. We will check your credit and criminal history, and if it looks good, we will call you to make an appointment to show you the inside. If we have concerns (i.e., no credit, poor credit), you will be asked to wait until we verify your rental and employment history before viewing. There is a $45 application fee to process the application. |
Q: How long will it take to process my application?
A: Depending on how long it takes for your employer and landlord to get back to us, it usually takes about 2-3 days. |
Q: Where are you located?
A: Our office address is 4915 Monroe Rd. Charlotte, NC 28205.
From Independence heading away from downtown, you'll take the Wendover Rd. Exit. At the first light, turn (L) onto Monroe. You'll pass a school on your left and we are about 1 mile down the road on the left. We are located between Sharon Amity and Wendover Road on Monroe Rd.
From Independence heading towards downtown Charlotte, go (L) onto Sharon Amity and quickly make a (R) at the next light onto Monroe Rd. We are located a few blocks down on your right.

Q: Do you accept Section 8?
A: On many of our rental homes we can accept Section 8. On others, we cannot. The best advice is to call us and ask about a particular home you are interested in renting. If we cannot take Section 8 on the home you are interested in, we may be able to find another suitable home for you that we can take Section 8 for. |

Q:
What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. We are closed on the major holidays. You are welcome to stop by anytime day or night to get a free rental list out of the information box. The rental list is in a small red info box located outside the office in front of our bulletin board. |
